 In this comprehensive course, students will learn essential skills to provide initial support to clients experiencing mental health challenges, with a focus on recognizing symptoms, offering appropriate aid, and guiding them towards professional assistance tailored to the prenatal and postparturm journey. 

Upon completion of course and passing exam, participants will be awarded A Birthworker MHFA Certificate.

$120 -self paced online 

OSHA regulations require employers to ensure that their workers receive regular training that covers all elements of the standard, including, but not limited to: Information on bloodborne pathogens and diseases, methods used to control occupational exposure, and post-exposure follow-up procedures This training aims to teach participants how to reduce the risk of exposure and control risks. 

Upon completion of course and passing exam, participants will be awarded a Disease Prevention Certificate.

Preparing for Overdoses Saves Lives

The number of people dying from a drug overdose is at an all-time high, and the main cause of these deaths is opioids. Recent FDA approval of naloxone nasal sprays for over-the-counter use gives people a lifesaving tool to prevent these deaths.  Learn the impacts of opioid overdoses in the workplace, signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose and how to administer naloxone in the case of a suspected opioid overdose.

This class is great for campers, hikers, and other outdoor enthusiasts. and will provide related training and resources for the remote and wilderness setting,  including  prevention, assessment, and treatment for common injuries & illness in wildlife, terrain, insects, weather & survival skills.

Center-based programs, home-based programs, summer youth camps and licensed daycare providers must complete training that addresses the health, safety and developmental needs of children including annual training.  "Baby Safe" includes:

• Safe Sleep for Infants:  Learn to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) 
• Never Shake a Baby—Preventing Abusive Head Trauma:  Learn the devastating effect of shaken baby syndrome,
• Power to Protect—Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect:  Learn about child abuse and neglect, how to reduce the risk  and report.

Giving them wings is a recognition of the need for autonomy, individuality, and eventually the ability to succeed on their own.  

Through the use of evidence-based tools and support with a psychoeducational approach, this journey guides parents through six sessions online FOR $75.
